A stunning Nine Patch variation quilt dating to the 1930s-1940s, possibly with some earlier fabrics, pieced from rich indigo calico prints against a crisp white ground. The repeating blocks feature checkerboard-style nine-patch centers with softly rounded extensions that create an almost floral or tiled mosaic effect across the quilt. Dense hand quilting throughout gives the surface remarkable texture and movement, and puckered softness gives it the coziest feel.
Flaws include some of the white areas less bright than others, some faint discoloration here and there, and a machine-stitched reinforced binding
Size: 66"x 81"
Most items available on Twice Dear are vintage or antique, some dating back over 100 years! As with most vintage pieces, items may have wear & tear -- and that's part of their charm. All efforts will be made to describe and photograph the wear & tear in the listing, but sometimes it isn't possible to display every single flaw, so please feel free to inquire if you have questions about a specific item.
All items, including furniture, are final sale. There will be no exchanges, returns, or refunds on any item.
